An award-winning, expert-level producer from concept and script development to post-production.

Gingi Rochelle, often referred to as Dr. Rochelle for her expert-level producing skills in the film and television industry, began her career over two decades ago as a studio teacher for the ABC hit series Family Matters.

After relocating from Los Angeles to New York, she collaborated with Spike Lee on renowned feature films such as Malcolm X, Crooklyn, and Clockers. During this time, she also produced music videos for iconic artists like Mos Def, Faith Evans, Queen Latifah, Goodie Mob, M.O.P., Brandy, Missy Elliott, and Usher.

Recognizing the need for strong producers in the independent film space, Rochelle transitioned to producing award-winning independent features and short films. Some of her standout projects include 30 Years to Life, Kali’s Vibe, Jellysmoke, Planet Brooklyn, and My Brother.
